Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

At what age do the puppies go to their new home?

Typically, the puppies are ready to go home around 9 weeks of age.  They are given their first vaccination around 8 weeks and can go home about a week later.

We live too far to drive for a puppy, can the puppy be shipped?

Yes, depending on the aircraft and schedule, we can ship a puppy.  The cost of the shipping and an appropriate shipping crate will be added to the cost of the puppy.

Do you offer a health guarantee?

Yes, as part of the Contract we have with all of our puppies, we offer a guarantee against debilitating hereditary illness for 2 years.

We don't really want a puppy, do you often have adults available?

We very occasionally have adults that we would like to place in a loving home.  Sometimes these adults become available due to a change in circumstances in their previous homes.  Our Contract stipulates that we will take back any dogs that are not able to stay in their current homes.

We very occasionally have adults that we are retiring from a show career.  As these dogs have been a large part of our lives, we look for extra special homes for them.
